Since then he has completed filming on two short films (Boys and Men, and Setting The Table), and appeared in two plays (Beyond Therapy, and Crimes Of The Heart), as well as in various commercials.
Huw became involved with Vision Radio after a friend told him about a play they were working on. Huw got in touch and was invited to present some fairytales for the series Fables.
“I have a passion for reading and presenting a host of different characters, and Fables gave me an opportunity to do just this. This is my first radio play, and I am very much enjoying working on the intricate and subtle performance details that are essential for a truthful and believable performance in this medium. Who knows what the future holds but I am gearing all my efforts to establish myself as a screen actor.”

Huw Collins is from London. He enjoyed performing in various drama productions at school, but went on to play professional sport when he left, first for Rugby Union in the UK, and then as kicker for National Football League team the St. Louis Rams in the United States. Huw decided to return to his passion for acting and last year attended a short course at the Actors’ Centre in London.
